Arman Ali is one of India’s foremost disability rights leaders and the Executive Director of the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP). With over two decades of experience, he has pioneered transformative initiatives including the Javed Abidi Fellowship for Youth with Disabilities, India’s first Assistive Technology Hub, and the country’s first Members of Parliament Forum on Disability.

 An alumnus of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and trained in Public Policy at Oxford University, Arman has advised key national institutions including the Election Commission of India, NHRC, MSJE, UNESCO, and the Child Welfare Committee. He also serves on the Supreme Court-appointed National Task Force for Prevention of Suicide by Students in HEI and other expert committees shaping accessibility and inclusive policy in India.


His advocacy led to India’s first universal health insurance product for persons with disabilities and secured disability-inclusive commitments in party manifestos. A National Award recipient (1998), Arman is recognized globally as a visionary and movement-builder, committed to ensuring no one is left behind.
