Pragya Prasun is an acid attack survivor, disability rights advocate, and the Founder of Atijeevan Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the holistic rehabilitation and empowerment of burn and acid attack survivors across India. A recipient of the Nari Shakti Puraskar from the President of India. Pragya has been instrumental in creating pathways for medical recovery, mental health support, and livelihood opportunities for survivors.

Through her survivor-led initiatives, she promotes inclusive employment, skill-building, and social integration — empowering women to rebuild their lives with dignity. Pragya’s vision is to create an inclusive economy where resilience meets opportunity, and every woman — regardless of disability — has the chance to thrive.
